Honestly, the number one question we get asked: “Is CBD legal?”  Quickly followed by “Will it show up on a drug test?” – Well – Let’s find out!

Level 5 is made up of old military and first responders.  Trust us we understand the concern about CBD and drug tests!  The fact that CBD can help so many ailments is not enough to risk a career or a well paying job.

Why is this even a concern?  The Federal Government legally defines the difference of Hemp and Marijuana as follows: Hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC, otherwise it’s considered Marijuana.  And with little to no regulation there are so many manufactures out there that just don’t care as much as we do about quality control.  Just because it says hemp on the bottle does not mean it has quality CBD or that it has less than 0.3% THC.  If they sell their product under the name “hemp oil” that can illegally sell it on amazon or in a grocery store.  Learn more about the differences and the laws surrounding CBD here.

And the more serious thing to consider is that THC accumulates in your body.  It might be less than 0.3% the first dose, but by the 3rd or 4th you now have a high enough THC level in your body that you can test positive on a drug test.  And that is with a so called ‘non-detectable THC product’ called Full Spectrum.

Level 5 is determined to prove that our Pure Isolate product will not only reduce your anxiety and inflammation, but also ensure you still have a job and a livelihood while taking it.

Before we get too far into this please don’t forget that CBD oils come in all shapes and sizes.  Meaning Full Spectrum has 0.3% or less THC in it.  Only Pure Isolate has 0.0% THC.  Know the difference.

So to show you the difference in our product we are going to take a series of tests.  Starting with a homemade Urine Drug Test.

Now we have taken other blood and drug tests in the past.  Two of our owners have taken the pure isolate 300 mg CBD for weeks and took a blood test – both past the drug tests.

But we offer more than just 300 mg.  We offer 600 mg, 1,200 mg and 2,500 mg of Pure CBD.  So in the interest of science we had John, a member of L5 Veteran community, take 1,200 mg of Pure Isolate CBD for two months and then take a drug test.

We used the ütest+ High Tech, Marijuana *Sensitive THC 20 ng/mL

  • Detects THC below the industry standard of 50 ng/mL, giving  the assurance to pass a standardized test
  • One step, easy to use, self testing device
  • Accurate with results in 5 minutes
  • Customer service, clear instructions & test interpretations on packaging
  • Made in the USA

We chose this test following it’s good reviews and that it measured 20 ng/mL which beats the industry standard used by many employers at 50 ng/mL.

Negative!  That was the result from the test.  It was hard to see in the video so we took a photo of it to make it easier to see!

Next will be a saliva test!  We also want to line up a blood sample as soon as the lockdown eases up.  If you have any questions or want a specific test completed let us know in the comments!  We would want to make sure you get the product you are expecting without worrying about your job!

Disclaimer:  The results of this test can vary due to a number of conditions.  If you have ever taken a raw hemp oil, Full Spectrum CBD, or Cannabis product, even if it has been months since you last used that product you may test positive for a THC test.  This is due to the fact that THC stays stored in the fat cells of your body.  John only took Pure Isolate CBD from L5.  No other company, no other brand, no other product.
